Can anyone tell me about the pros and cons of a Nissan Figaro driving speeds miles per gallon common faults etc?

I bought my Figaro in 1994, a reconditoned import from Japan to Malaysia. My wife is still driving this car after 13 full years. The obvious pros are its looks (even a Ferrari will not turn as many heads), its durability, good mileage per liter and reliability. The cons are its pick-up (it is a real tortise), small fuel tank (needs topping up if you are on longer hauls - the car is basically a fun car for city driving) and its speed limitation (I touched 130 kM/hr once but the car starts to feel unstable when I reached 120 kM/hr). The brakes are not too great and if the car gets through a puddle of water, you will have to be careful to pump the brakes to get the grip back. The other things are that it is a lady's car so when I am on the wheel, I do feel a bit weird and getting parts may be a bit of a hassle - I managed to get hold of an agent in Japan to supply some parts when the car was damaged in a minor accident and I had to replace a head lamp and the grille. I am now waiting for the Traffic Department to approve my application to modify the car. I aim to fit in a 1500 cc Nissan turbo reconditioned engine to boost the power and then to change the entire braking system to good power assisted brakes and hopefully with a third or fourth generation ABS. The Figaro is gaining in popularity in UK and will be a good investment since it is so durable and there are not many around.
