What are the possible reasons for a 'check engine' light to come on for a perfectly fine running 1992 Acura Integra Type-R?

there are so many reasons I'm not even going to get in to them. Buy a code reader it will tell you why the light came on. It's not a true Type-R. Unless you, or someone else, went through the trouble of converting a '92 Integra to a Type-R. The TYPE-R were not even manufactured stateside until the last half of 1997 at the earliest.
