What does China stamped on the inside of a ring mean?

Where it was made. Most likely costume jewelry unless it has a number with k next to it it's probably not real gold. Everything including 14k an 10k gold has where it was made I've seen alot of gold stamped 14k Italy. Just look again for other marks, or have it acid tested. Hope this helps
