Policies that were established during the colonial period which are still in use today?

there are many such policies-

1.the forest management act which divide forests as reserved, protected and unclassed is still today.

2.The governmental setup and power sharing between three sectors of govt. legislature ,judiciary and executive are based on same idea only.

3.The municipal corporations still have similar powers.
