When did Holmes boats in Houston Tx manufacture boats?

Wooden boats were made in the 50's & 60's. His son, Robert, made a custom line of fiberglass boats in the late 80's/early 90's.A 1955 Holmes runabout and a 1959 Holmes Hardtop outboard have been exhibited in the Wheels & Keels Concours at Lakewood Yacht Club in Kemah, Texas
