Why there is cloud without rain?

Clouds can exist without rain when they are composed of tiny water droplets or ice crystals that are too small to fall to the ground. This occurs in situations like stratiform clouds, which can hold moisture but may not have sufficient energy or condensation to produce precipitation. Additionally, atmospheric conditions such as temperature inversions can prevent the droplets from coalescing into larger droplets that would produce rain. Thus, clouds can form and persist without resulting in rainfall.
