Where is number 1 cylinder of a Mazda 3 2005?

In a 2005 Mazda 3, the number 1 cylinder is located at the front of the engine, on the driver's side. This arrangement follows the conventional numbering system used in most inline four-cylinder engines, where the cylinders are numbered from front to back.
