Job responsibilities of a summer camp counselor?

Summer camp counselors have many responsibilities, but safety is first. They have to keep an eye out for the physical and emotional safety of their charges, and know what to do if that safety is threatened. They also have to lead activities, and remind campers to take care of themselves and their space.
