Where is the water filter on an ice-maker?

If you have water and ice in the door, most of them are at the bottom in the front below the door. If you just have an ice maker inside the freezer, the filter is placed along the line from the water supply. This can be behind the fridge, below the floor, or behind the wall, as long as it is easily accessible in case of breaks in the line or replacing the filter.
