How often do Georgia voters elect members to the legislature?

Georgia voters elect members to the legislature every two years. Elections for the Georgia State House of Representatives and the Georgia State Senate occur concurrently during even-numbered years, with all 180 House members and half of the 56 Senate members up for election. Additionally, special elections may occur in odd-numbered years to fill vacancies.
