Is cricket a spring sport

High school track runs through the spring, and college track runs through the spring and early summer. Professional track runs from late spring through the end of summer. Currently the professional season is ramping up, as most countries are currently holding their olympic trials, with the competition beginning at the end of July. There is also an indoor season for all three levels, beginning in November and continuing into March. Cross country is the fall sport.
