Do you need the disc of simcity to play the game?

No, you do not need "SimCity" to play SimCity Societies.

All you need to do to play SimCity Societies, is go to TARGET, Walmart, or meijer near where you live and buy SimCity Societies in the electronic department. After you do that when you come you can play SimCity Societies on your computer buy installing it. It probably won't work on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT: Workstation 4.0, or Windows 2000 Professional.
