What is the importance of biochemistry in Pharmacy?

Biochemistry is the testing of medicines. For example, for trying to find a cure for cancer, they would re-create the cell and see if they can neutralise the disease and how. Also biochemistry is also used for testing blood to see for any illness' or disease. the knowledge of all the internel mechanisms of the body are essential to design drugs for the cure of the malfunction in the system.
