How do diamondback terrapin protect themselves?

They protect them self's by using their shells. They hide in there too, like in Cartoons! They use their shells to camouflage with the grass and mud/dirt on land. In water they blend in at the bottom with rocks and mud. Also they can blend in with rocks.
