The New England Patriots beat the Carolina Panthers in the 2004 Super Bowl. In addition to the Vince Lombardi Trophy, Super Bowl winners receive a cash bonus from the NFL.
NFL.com states that each player upon winning a Super bowl gets a $73,000 bonus (losers get a $38,000 bonus) and a ring.
That bonus has risen in recent years and is estimated to be a $88,000 bonus for the 2011 Super Bowl.
