In 1994, General Motors did not offer a four-bolt main engine in their standard production vehicles. Most of their small-block V8 engines, like the popular 350, typically came with two-bolt main caps. However, four-bolt main configurations were available in performance and heavy-duty applications, primarily in the Chevrolet small-block engines, but they were not common in regular passenger vehicles during that model year.
