Is master card or Visa card accepted in Sudan?

As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, both MasterCard and Visa cards are generally accepted in Sudan, particularly in larger cities and at more established businesses. However, the availability of services may be limited, and it’s advisable to carry cash as well, since many smaller vendors may not accept cards. Additionally, due to various sanctions and regulations, the functionality of international cards can be inconsistent. Always check the latest information before traveling.
