What is the slowest intercity train in Europe?

Well, according to an article in hidden Europe magazine (http://www.hiddeneurope.co.UK) in 2005 (issue 3, page 31), Europe's slowest 'express' is the morning cross border service from Sezana in Slovenia which takes 3 hrs 20 mins to reach Monfalcone in Italy. That was of course four years ago and perhaps things have since changed, but evidently this train (which carries through sleeping cars from Bucharest to Venice) took over three hours to cover a distance of less than 40 km.
