What did Thomas Jefferson do when he was a kid?

Worked on his family's farm, collected eggs from the chickens, read, wrote, went to school, experimented. When he got older however, he worked on a train where he had a lab and conducted lab experiments until the train crashed and his lab was destroyed. He was okay though.
