How do you record games with theater mode in call of duty black ops?

go into theatre, and you can choose from your recent games, play it and hold X (for xbox) or the equivalent on another console, it will record, but you need to hold the button for the amount of time you need the recording,

i.e. if you want the whole film, hold the button from start to finish.
