Why is pink nail polish remover so good to sniff?

The solvents in nail polish (and perhaps some of the pigments in pink) have an effect on the brain's chemistry that can create feelings of pleasure. However, they also cause permanent brain damage over time. Pretty stupid thing to do, actually.
