The filter is located under the car near the fuel tank, on the passenger side just forward of the rear wheel. The filter is fairly large about the size of a drinking glass with the outlets marked as IN and OUT. You must first de-pressurize the fuel system by opening the gas cap and removing the electrical fuse [#28] for the fuel pump then crank the car for 3-5 seconds to insure that it does not start and that no gasoline is being pumped through the filter. The fuel lines are pressed on to the front and rear of the filter and secure with spring clamps. Having a spring clamp removal tool will save you much time and frustration. Unless you have a hydraulic lift to work under it is very tight working under the car in this area. Once you remove the clips the new filter can be put in place and reconnected. Reattach the fuel lines and clips securely. Replace the electrical fuse and then start the car, Check under the car to make cetain that all clamps are secure and there are no leaks, You're done!
