The left (driver side) headlight is easier. Instructions are in the manual. Make sure you wear latex gloves when handling the old and new headlight bulbs. - Remove rubber casing .. just pull it out.
- Remove electrical connector .. pull it out carefully otherwise the plastic might crack
- Remove metal spring that holds the bulb .. you basically squeeze the 2 arms that are towards the left sideview mirror and pull it away from the bulb
- Remove old bulb
- Now take the new bulb and place it so that it matches the cutout provided
- The 2 connectors of the bulb must be up and down. Not side by side.
- Now place the metal spring on the bulb and squeeze and release and make sure it secures the bulb
- Connect the electrical connector
- Place the rubber casing back on
You are done!
The right side is a little more complicated. Open the hood and as you face the engine, remove You the 2 small screws that are to the right of the bulb. This secures a plastic casing. Then pull out the casing to access the bulb. Once that is done, you repeat the above. Read the owners manual.
