This depends on what your role is in regards to bullying.

1. If you are the bully - Stop bullying, seek help, and learn to obtain feelings of self-worth through other endeavors.

2. If you are a victim - Tell other people about the problem. Take up a self-defense class. Learn to build your confidence and learn how to stand up for yourself. Use positive self talk and visualization to make yourself feel better. However, don't visualize harm to others, but visualize the desired outcome in terms of being left alone and having only friendly contacts with others. You may need counseling to undo the emotional trauma from the bullying, and to address underlying subconscious things that causes bullies to see you as a mark. Bullies are predators, and predators start with the weak and injured. So you should address what is causing a low self-esteem, a desire to isolate yourself, or whatever.

3. If you are concerned or in a leadership role - Speak out against bullying when you see it. Discipline the bullies if you are a teacher or school administrator, but also get help for them, since they had to learn it somehow, and they might be victims of bullying or child abuse themselves. Join anti-bullying groups. Put up posters about bullying. Push for laws dealing with certain types of bullying and hazing. Donate to anti-bullying causes.
