Why do people just plain don't care?

Because people these days. At least most of my generation and under, (I'm 24.) Have had everything handed to them. They don't need to care because, well, their parents do. I noticed this when I was in high-school somewhat but now that I've joined the workforce I've seen it much more. It's amazing to me how much "kids" just don't know how to do anything for themselves and I honestly thing it's the parenting that's causing it.
