When dogs are in heat?

"In heat" is the term used to describe when a female dog is receptive to male dogs and can get pregnant.

While in heat, a dog may squat (urinate small amounts) particularly around intact male dogs, posture around male dogs, be less active and lethargic and may drip some blood from her vulva.
