William A. Buckingham (born May 28, 1804 in Lebanon, Connecticut; died February 5, 1875 in Norwich, Connecticut) succeeded Alexander H. Holley as the twenty-sixth Governor of Connecticut, serving between May 5, 1858 and May 2, 1866, including the whole of 1863.
