How do you put your hair in two buns?

One way to do it is to part your hair and make two ponytails, then braid them and wrap them around like a cinnamon bun and pin them with hairpins. You'd need very long hair for that. Another way would be to pull it through a form and wrap it around; you still need the hairpins. In both cases it would have to be pretty thick. It's hard enough just to make one generous bun.
