What is the first thing you should do after retrieving a boat in a trailer?

Ensure it is fastened onto the trailer properly and drain any water out of the boats hull. You should then wash down the trailers wheel bearings to get any salt out (if it has been in the sea). Then you should sort out, wash out and fasten the boats engine, locking it down for travel.
