How does edward change in twilight?

Actually Edward does propose at the end of new moon, but he does not have a ring or anything, he was just letting her now his ideas for their future together, he does for sure propose properly in eclipse and she does say yes. they get married in breaking dawn and heve their first half vampire half huma child!
