Well sort of - but be aware the Word "contagious" is rather a misnomer. I think you mean if you are staying by yourself in a hotel and there is a bedbug infestation affecting your bedroom which results in female bedbugs laying their eggs in your holdall which you then unwittingly take back to your home, and then when the bedbug nymphs eggs hatch in your home will the bedbugs necessarily come to you to feed in your bed rather than to other people's beds also living in your home. The answer is they may be attracted by the CO2 breath when asleep ofwhoever's bed happens to be nearest. That may or may not be your bed or else somebody else's bed in your home. Once they have found food (i.e. a bed with somebody asleep in it) they can feed off, that will usually become their base very near where that particular person sleeps. But if several people sleep in very close proximity bedbugs may alternate on different nights to feed off different people's blood in the same bedroom or dormitory. If the bedbugs in one person's bed then multiply and become an infestation, that problem will very likely spread into other people's beds in that home or sometimes in nearby apartments or homes as well.
