Is E621 halal for Muslim

E621 (also Monosodium Glutamate) is Halal for consumption.

However, in some places, it has been termed as mushbooh. This means that it has been labelled as doubtful.

However, a majority say that it is halal and that it is fine under Islamic law to consume.
