Where is the vin number on a Mercedes sprinter?

The number is on the back of the block on the passenger side very close to the bell housing and just below the crankshaft position sensor. you read it from under the vehicle with a mirror. You have a lot of digets so best to rub it with chalk and then sand the surface flat.
