Can you buy Minecraft with cash?

Currently minecraft does not sell pre-paid cards. You can, however, buy gift codes on Minecraft.net(sort of like a virtual pre-paid card). In the future after Minecraft leaves beta there may be pre-paid Minecraft account cards, but there is no evidence that there ever will be.
