Is the dog from the movie white dog still alive?

White Dog was filmed in 1981, so it is safe to assume that, since the lifespan of a domestic dog is on average 10-13 years, that any dog in that movie is long dead.

Also, it should be noted that five different white german shepherds were used to portray the dog in the movie.
