I have a suckerfish and 2 goldfish do I need to feed the suckerfish or will it just eat the bacteria inside the tank?

Of course you have to feed them. (They are tropical fish so should not be in a cold water tank with goldfish anyway). Your suckerfish are algae eaters and need their own special diet that's available at pet shops.
