How long does it take a praying mantis to kill their prey?

from what i know the praying mantis sits on a leaf, wait for its prey to come close, and then as quick as a blink of an eye it unfolds its arms, which have razor like teeth ligning them, grabs its prey - the insect it then eaten happily.
