I have power and fire but no fuel I installed a new fuel pump after troubleshooting and the power lead at the pump is only showing 6.5 volts and vehicle will not start on 1997 sidekick JX so now what?

course it wont.

behind the left rear tail light at 3 pm in the body cavity is a ground.

clean it. it runs the fuel guage and the pump.

in fact the power to the pump passes thru this cavity.
