How do you open the disc tray on your old xbox?

Im not entirley sure how to fix it propally cause mine only opens by controller sometimes, but i know how to open it manually if it's stuck. If you go on the disk tray and take of the silver Xbox 360 cover of it. On the left side ther should be a few gaps and holes. With a small scalpel or pocket knife you must find a small rubber band (that helps the disk tray rotate) in side one of those gaps, and gentley stroke it donwards until the disk tray pops out, and you can remove the rest of it manually
