What is a challenged book?

"A challenged book is about the character(s) who is mentally or phsyically challenged"

Actually, a challenged book is a book that has been brought up to the teacher, school, district, library, etc. by a student, parent, individual, or organization because of its content. The individuals do not believe it is appropriate for the age level it is being targeted at, and therefore they challenge its use in the classroom or on the library shelves and want it removed.
