How long will it take to die from a stab wound to the abdomen?

The liver is extremely vascular, meaning LOTS of blood flows thru it. If it gets ruptured you have about an hour I would guess. Your body does a lot to stop blood from leaving the body, but without surgery you're a goner. Other than the pain of the injury, its not a bad way to go. You lose blood and just go to sleep...and of course never wake up...which is a bummer.
