Can you use a tarp as a blue screen?

You can use a tarp, however, it is best to use something that is not reflective and can be evenly lit to pull a key. If you use a tarp it will likely cause more blue spill on your actors because it's reflective nature and you might get hot spots that will not be removed when you key out the main color.
