How do you replace a front turn signal on a Volvo s40 2001?

Open the hood. Near the front of the turn signal assembly there is a Phillips head screw. Loosen but do not remove the screw; it releases the front of the assembly. You then need to pull forward to release the pin holding the rear of the assembly.

Reverse the above to replace the assembly.
