Why is it good to have a pet?

I think it is good to have a pet because if you get a pet from a shelter than it gives a pet a home because every secound a pet dies because of peple

!It makes no sence you do not wannt your pet anymore thanj take it to a shelter that is NOT high kill.And when you get a pet from a shelter than it will make you fell good that you saved a dog or cat.Like I have 1 cat and I got her from a shelter and saved her life and she is the best cat ever!!And I also have a dog and I got her from a shelter and she is the best dog ever and would never bite someone!
