Which region does a flamingo live in?

There are six different species of flamingos. Where they live depends on their species:

• Greater Flamingo: Parts of Africa, southern Europe and south-west Asia
• Lesser Flamingo: Great Rift Valley areas of Africa and north-west India
• Chilean Flamingo: Chile, Argentina and temperate areas of South America
• James's Flamingo: In the Andes (which is between Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina)
• Andean Flamingo: In the Andes (which is between Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina)
• American Flamingo: Caribbean and Galapagos Islands.
