Where does the yellow breasted chat live?

The yellow-breasted chat primarily inhabits dense thickets, brushy areas, and shrubby habitats in the eastern and southern United States, particularly during the breeding season. They are often found near wetlands, riverbanks, and edges of forests. In winter, many migrate to southern Mexico and Central America. Their preference for dense vegetation makes them less visible and more challenging to observe.
