How bad is a WF on a high school transcript?

Not good. It depends on if it is a solid subject like math, science, history, English or if it is an elective. With a solid it looks bad and not real good with an elective. The biggest damage is to the overall GPA because it will drop it several points and for a college that is a red flag. If you can go take the class again.
