Does asda test makeup on animals?

Primark's cosmetics and toilettries are made by Swallowfield (see related link), who also make the products for Charles Worthington haircare. They did have a complete stop on any animal testing back in 2009 with a clause in the ethical policy

"b) There must not be any testing or commissioning of tests of finished products or raw

materials on animals."

This has now gone and been replaced by a section in their conditions and purchase policy

8 )All Goods must not have been tested on animals within the last five years

so they have gone to a 5yr rolling date similar to some other companies.
