Who is the dynamic character in The Cask of Amontillado?

The dynamic character in The Cask of Amontillado is Fortunato, because in the start of the story he considers himself and Montresor good friends. But in the end after Montresor is exacting his revenge, Fortunato comes to the realization that his friend is trying to kill him.
