What type of animal is the spider?

A spider is not an insect (insects have three body parts and six legs). Spiders are invertebrates, they have have eight legs and two body parts, silk spinning glands called spinnerets (but not all spiders spin webs), they are oviparous and can have six or eight eyes. Most spiders have fangs, through which venom is ejected.
